Carrasco is the ultimate LaLIga winger. He rips defenders apart and catching him seems to be impossible. Give him a through pass on the wings and the job is done. What if the opponent's full back is sticking to his back ? use your right joystick for a cheeky control and voilà here's your free space. When it comes to finesse shots, he's a Messi equivalent. His jumping (87) makes him usefull for crosses. Moreover, his (94) stamina keeps him fresh for a whole game and even 120minutes in case you go to extra-time. At last, his agility (99) is the ultimate key to make full use of him. If you master ball control when recieving a pass, left stick dribbling and well timed acceleration, they you have on your hands one of the most META players of FIFA 21.

My review is going to be based on Carrasco playing as a winger, and then as a striker. Packed TOTS Carrasco in my red picks, his stats suggests that he is a beast of a winger, perfectly fits my team linking up with Llorente. Played him firstly on the wing in a 4-2-2-2 set up for 10 games, and this guys is rapid, gives most full backs a hard time. I look for pace, agility, skill moves, balance and body type for my wingers, and Carrasco does not feel smoother than NIF Neymar or Showdown Neres(as a reference) in dribbling. His dribbling stats look insane, however the balance and body type does make him not as smooth on the ball, but still he is a good dribbler. 5* skills are also preferred, and him being 4* skills is the bare minimum and would sometimes find myself in trouble when not being able to get out of sticky situations via the use of the skill move cancelling mechanisims or ball roll scoop turn. However i mainly run a 4-3-1-2 set up, so i decided to try him as a striker alongside Atal. Needless to say with 92 finishing, 97 shot power and 90 positioning, his composure ruins his shooting. He has missed a lot of chances for me, especially 1 on 1 goals, that my Neymar or Atal would normally finish with ease. Despite sometimes scoring some decent goals, I would not label him as a reliable striker. Some unmentioned highlights of Carrasco include his good stamina, he will literally last a whole game and you dont have to sub him off, decent work rates being High/Low, and his weakfoot is suprisingly reliable for being 4* WF.

Chem style:

I've seen people apply Engine or Sentinal, Engine for boosting his dribbling (composure/balance) and Sentinal for boosting his physical (Strength/Aggresion), but for me I think engine or deadeye is the way to go, as his problems of balance and composure stand out more than his problems of physicality. However please note that applying engine or deadeye does not boost his composure.

Conclusion:

Carrasco is definitely reliable on the wing and poses lots of threats for fullbacks, but I would not reccomend him as a sole striker, and if you have to play him striker please play 2 strikers, so the dribbling and pace elements of Carrasco can be put to good use in creating chances.

sooo i was looking for a way to link up the new flashback countinho nd needed a LM from laliga so i got now,i played him uptop in a 4312 along with king kenny ,first his is veery rapid like if ur on breakway there no stopping him, he can pass the ball nd is reponsve on the ball but u can see that the balance effects this card.now heres the problem althpough the base shooting are really high he dese miss a lot of chances that u expect him to score ,so overall its a really good card if ur playing him wide but something just didnt feel right about him nd i guess thats why hes only 250k
